Preferred Maintenance
Preferred Maintenance Agreements

You owe it to yourself to keep your heating and air conditioning system on a routine maintenance program to keep it running its best, just like you would for your automobile. Without regular maintenance, heating and cooling systems use more energy and are more likely to break down more frequently. With Current Mechanical's Preferred Maintenance Plan, you can prevent costly repairs and experience peace of mind comfort for years to come.

  1. As much as half of your energy used in your home goes to heating and cooling. It stands to reason that making smart decisions regarding your heating, and air conditioning system can have a substantial effect on your utility bills. So the first reason for maintaining your heating and cooling system is to make sure it is performing efficiently, which in turns saves on your monthly utility bills.
  2. I have often given the analogy, just like having your oil changed in your car, your heating and cooling system also needs regular tune-ups. When you turn on your central heat and air conditioning units we want them to be able to deliver exactly the temperature we want and to deliver it all day long. If your heating and air conditioning unit is not running properly it may be working too hard and we will not experience the comfort in our homes or businesses we desire.
  3. The main reason many of us avoid routine maintenance to our heating and air conditioning systems system is the expected high cost of doing so. Many homeowners will wait until their air conditioner stops cooling all together or their furnace won't light before they call their local heating and air conditioning service company. Its usually at this time that not only do you end up paying more for repairs or replacement than you would have for regular scheduled maintenance. By having Current Mechanical put your heating and air conditioning system on a yearly schedule maintenance plan where you have your air conditioner serviced in the spring and the furnace serviced and inspected in the fall saves money and time. Regular scheduled maintenance will pay for itself in lower repair costs and more efficient operation.
  4. Routine, scheduled maintenance by Current Mechanical not only allows for a more efficient and trouble-free operation, but it is also a matter of safety and peace of mind. A typical maintenance check-up will include inspecting heat exchangers, burners, proper drafting and safety controls on your furnace, checking your air conditioners refrigerants charge and making sure electrical components such as blower and inducer motors are measuring proper voltage and current. Faulty electrical connections can cause unsafe operation of your system and reduce the life of major components
  5. Improperly maintained heating equipment can lead to a unsafe environment and become a health risk or even death from the poisonous, odorless gases of carbon monoxide. Holes in your system's heat exchanger can leak carbon monoxide or allow flames that are normally contained inside the system to reach your living space causing a potentially dangerous situation.
  6. Today most if not all manufacturer's require a routine maintenance in order to validate the warranty. Routine maintenance will protect you from major system repairs and maintain your manufacturer's warranty.
  7. When your furnace and air conditioner is properly maintained, you can add several years to the life of that system. It also helps that system to operate at its manufactures designed specifications much longer. A heating and cooling system is designed to operate at a certain SEER ( Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio) or AFUE (Annual Fuel Utilization) and when it is not kept clean its efficiency decreases and In turn cost much more to operate.
